I just wrote a really long post about the importance of exploring and living in other parts of the country and how vital it is to take a fucking chance and plop yourself into something new, often. I deleted it because it came off as too brash. So ill say this, if you are able to live elsewhere, make money doing so, meet new people, learn new things, experience different culture..do it. Getting too comfortable living in the same town forever, to me, is far more scary and detrimental to personal growth, than never seeing what else is out there. Home, family, and great friends will always be there, the oppurtunity to exist elsewhere may not be.

Adapt.

Confucius say, “cant nobody break my stride, nobody gonna hold me down, oh no, I got to keep on movin”

Someone took a photo of this and posted it somewhere, probably even hashtagged it as #yolo or something….maybe it was after that minute.

Because knowledge is power…

Morning reading.

Always. (at Elysian Brewing Company)

I now have the absolute pleasure of working next to/for Chef Bill Morris of The Rainier Club, right in the heart of downtown Seattle. This place is going to be an amazing teacher, and at this junction in my life, is absolutely the greatest thing I could possibly do for my career.
